Hole in One Insurance:  No one really knows how or why the tradition of a person scoring a Hole in One has to buy everyone in the Clubhouse a drink.  Fortunately, for Men’s Club members they can purchase Hole in One Insurance for only $2.  The insurance is good for the entire season providing no Hole in One is recorded during Men’s Club play.  If a hole in one is scored, players can buy more insurance for the remainder of the year for an additional $2.  If no hole in one is recorded, the money is carried over to the following year; however, players will have to buy new insurance in the new year.  The person who scores a Hole in One wins all the money in the pot.  At the very least, he is required to buy a drink for all the people in his group as well as the players in the groups immediately in front and behind his own group.
